A bracelet with a story of friendship, unity and support

From a military tradition to a Danish jewellery collection

From Soldier to Soldier has its roots in a military tradition of braiding bracelets from parachute cord and giving them to fellow soldiers as a symbol of friendship, unity and support.

The idea was brought home from Afghanistan by Stefan Hylleborg and later developed into the From Soldier to Soldier collection by Danish jewellery brand Aagaard.

How do I choose the right size?

Measure your wrist with a measuring tape where you normally wear your bracelet. All sizes shown in our shop refer to the total length of the bracelet including the clasp.

Add approximately 1 cm for a close fit, 1.5-2 cm for a comfortable regular fit or 2-2.5 cm for a looser fit.

Example:
If your wrist measures 18 cm, a bracelet measuring approximately 19.5-20 cm will normally provide a comfortable fit.

From Soldier to Soldier is a bracelet with a story. The design comes from the bracelets soldiers braided during deployments in Afghanistan. It is made of camouflage braided paracord with a clasp in steel. The clasp bears a dove of peace, a symbol of peace, hope and the wish for a safe return home.
